Hard Yakka

A warming rub to ease sore muscles after a hard day’s work… or recreation. Will also ease arthritis, rheumatism and lumbago. A pleasant smelling blend of St. John’s Wort, which improves circulation, Meadowsweet, a natural painkiller and Mullein (an anti-inflammatory). The flowers of these plants are infused in Olive Oil, for several weeks in the sun.

Made with: Maceration of St John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum), Meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria), and Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) in Sunflower Oil, and Beeswax, with Essential Oils of Lavender (Lavandula grosso) and Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis).

Kiwi Slang Definition: ‘Hard Yakka” – means hard work or physically tiring. An Aboriginal word that jumped the Tasman.
